In this text the author analyzes the topic of the configuration of social memory in Serbia at the beginning of the 21st century in the context of post-communist changes, as well as the influence of national, universal and Yugoslav mythology on the modern fabrication of the past. . She analyzes her hypothesis in the cases of the formation of public memory of Prime Minister Zoran Đinđić and the state's disinterest in the role and legacy of President Slobodan Milošević.
